How to Use OPI Glitter Off!
14 FebHappy Valentine’s Day!
We recently learned of the amazing new product Glitter Off by OPI launching in March 2014 (read all about it here), and today I wanted to share with you how it works!
Glitter Off by OPI is a new, peel-able base coat that allows for the quick and easy removal of nail lacquer when applied beneath any glitter or dark nail color. Glitter Off provides a base for quick one-step removal and protects natural nails, while simultaneously making nail colors brighter. Glitter Off is designed to leave nails polish-free and stain-free in seconds, revealing a clean nail surface without the use of lacquer remover.
Step 1: apply one thin coat of Glitter Off
Step 2: wait for it to dry clear
Step 3: apply as many coats of your glitter polish as you like

HOLY 2nd BLOGIVERSARY GIVEAWAY BATMAN!
6 FebSome of you may or may not know, but… before I started talking beauty, I was mostly a cooking AND a childhood memories kind of blog (oh, yes, and a full-time author – have you read my book?). Well, that didn’t work out well for me because I lost interest in cooking because I spent most of my time staring (and drooling over – much to my dismay!) at swatches and then I really started stalking each and every OPI collection, and I gave myself a “day” off from writing my book (still sitting on book #2, you guys!). Then, I learned about Indies, and my love grew tremendously. I fell hard for these homemade beauties – at first, very skeptical – but then realizing that this was better! Oh, and did I mention, I had a little fall out with nail polish during my pregnancy! I would get EXTREMELY…

End of the year swatches
28 DecHello my lovely beautiful people! Who ever is reading this, I fully appreciate it!
I made a realization tonight. As I prepared for this post.
I could never become a full on blogger and one to review polishes. Just cause my life’s already busy enough. But also because I’m super picky about my polishes. I know what I like and know what will look good on my nails. As much as I love nail polish, I know I don’t love them all equally. And my review, despite being honest, might be hurtful. Maybe…maybe not.
I admire all those bloggers who have a family a job and still find the time to swatch and blog! They’re awesome. I just couldn’t do it 😉
Onto my pretties! These are swatches from the past couple of weeks. I know I won’t be back for weeks! So here ya go!
