Some of you may or may not know, but… before I started talking beauty, I was mostly a cooking AND a childhood memories kind of blog (oh, yes, and a full-time author – have you read my book?). Well, that didn’t work out well for me because I lost interest in cooking because I spent most of my time staring (and drooling over – much to my dismay!) at swatches and then I really started stalking each and every OPI collection, and I gave myself a “day” off from writing my book (still sitting on book #2, you guys!). Hello my lovely beautiful people! Who ever is reading this, I fully appreciate it!
I made a realization tonight. As I prepared for this post.
I could never become a full on blogger and one to review polishes. Just cause my life’s already busy enough. But also because I’m super picky about my polishes. I know what I like and know what will look good on my nails. As much as I love nail polish, I know I don’t love them all equally. And my review, despite being honest, might be hurtful. Maybe…maybe not.
I admire all those bloggers who have a family a job and still find the time to swatch and blog! They’re awesome. I just couldn’t do it 😉
