I have been promising this post for months now and literally just continuously forgot to write it! I have already planned my new year’s resolution and that is to get myself some kind of diary or planner so I can keep track of things and write myself reminders. I have alluded to the fact that there is a huge difference between the formulas of the Revlon Colorstay foundations before but now I want to break it down for you and tell you exactly what they are.

Above the Curve: Arrivederci, Au Revoir Swatches

Next to last post before my Blogiversary/Birthday giveaway goes LIVE tomorrow!!! I’ll be posting again to show off the very last polish included in the giveaway (that isn’t one of my own), but I won’t make everyone wait any longer!
These 2 beauties are custom polishes Angel and Shaun at Above the Curve came up with for me special for this occasion!
My favorite colors are pink (which is obvious to most people I’m sure), grey, mint, and tiffany blue. I especially wanted a mint/tiffany blue holo, since I adore holos from ATC. These are the two matching polishes they came up with!

Inspired by one of my favorite bloggers

Hi all!
Tonight I have a manicured inspired by an awesome blogger!
Mine is a tad different but hers was definitely my inspiration. Now and then I will post manicures inspired by many of the gorgeous bloggers I follow.
For tonight’s mani I started with 2 coats of Avon’s Cosmic Starburst. A gorgeous dark pink holo. I then added one coat of seche vite. Then on my middle and ring fingers I added stripping tape going in all directions to create a star (kind of). I then covered the tape with A England’s Bridal Veil a gorgeous black holo.
I added diamonds from a nail art kit in the center of the star.
Well there you have it! A short but sweet post. I hope you enjoyed tonight’s post as much as I enjoyed doing it!

I ask that you forgive my lack of posts and my absence! I have been trying to come up with wittier better ways of writing this and I hit a wall. This being only my third, yes third, post I feel some what embarrassed that I have hit such “wall”. But none the less I am here tonight to actually talk about some polish!
Onto the pretties!!!!
The first swatch I have is from OPI. It’s swimsuit… Nailed it!
This can be described as a rich blue with a hint of silver or metallic. Not too flashy but truly a gorgeous blue. I bought this one from TJ Maxx. As much as I love this color and it’s application that being flawless, I do admit that removal was a pain. Even though I used the best base coat I own, OPI nail envy, it still stained. Oh well…

My I Love Nail PolishUltrachromes arrived! Wow, the first swatches of these have been out for over a month already. It’s kind of a bummer as a blogger to not be able to get hold of things more quickly, but I guess that’s what I get for living in the land of croissants.
So, I jumped on these as soon as they went live. I’ve ordered from ILNP a few times before, dispatch is usually very fast. This time, it took a few days longer. That was for a good reason (they needed to replace the brushes), but as a paying customer, it would have been nice to have an email to inform me, instead of having to check all the social media accounts to find out what’s going on. Just saying.
